Great coffee shop with awesome staff. The cold brew was great and the canelada was a perfect. However, the breakfast was the star. If your looking for a delicious, and filling, breakfast sandwich, this is the spot.
I started coming to this spot 1.5 months ago and would describe it in 3 words: delicious, consistent, joyful. From the coffee to the matcha. From the pain au chocolat to the salted bagel BE&C. No matter what I’ve purchased, it has been consistently delicious. Then you add the joyful environment because the owners clearly LOVE what they do. Consume has quickly become my favorite cafe in all of Chicago.
Such a cute spot! I stopped by and had a great experience from start to finish. The place is super clean, cozy, and very welcoming—perfect for a quick coffee break or catching up with a friend. The service was fast and friendly, which made it even better. I tried the iced vanilla latte and the iced matcha, and both were absolutely delicious! Definitely planning to come back more often. Highly recommend!
My sandwich and latte were a 10/10. The service was impeccable. Their outside patio is perfect for the warmer months. This is a great family owned business. I will be back! Love the old school deli/bodega inspired signs throughout!
Cafe Consume has a vibrant energy as you walk in. We were warmly greeted by Andres when we arrived. Small interior with an intimate counter culture. The prices are AFFORDABLE. I loved when breakfast spots have minimal menus where everything made is executed well and with love.
My husband and I found this little gem a few blocks away from our home. Super cute vibe. The workers were crazy nice and super helpful. They gave great suggestions what flavors to blend in the teas/coffees. Food and drinks tasted extra yummy!! Loving that my new fav spot is in the neighborhood!!! It's a "must do"!
One of the best breakfast sandwiches McKinley Park has ever seen! My husband and I got the bagel sandwich with sausage & the bacon croissant. Both were the perfectly made with fresh ingredients. This is a breakfast that will keep you full for hours! Coffee was delicious too. This is our new go to spot in the neighborhood!
Hidden Gem in McKinley Park: Vintage Vibes & Bourbon Vanilla Dreams! Stumbled into consume vintage and next door was their coffee shop in McKinley Park! I went for the vanilla bourbon coffee and it did not disappoint. The staff? Chill, welcoming, like they actually care about the coffee and the people drinking it. Vinyl playing in the background, mismatched vintage chairs, and sunlight filtering through old windows like something out of a movie. 10/10 would come back. This spot is a whole vibe.
